The talk will be about the intelligence picture prior to D-Day and the deception operations staged to protect the truth of Operation Overlord in June 1944.

About the Speaker - Bill Steadman

Bill entered the army as a boy soldier in 1975,  joining the Armoured Corps.  After 9 years he transferred to the Intelligence Corps, finally retiring in 2013 in the rank of Major.  He served in Northern Ireland, Germany, Bosnia, Iraq, Kosovo and other places he is not allowed to mention!
